June 2010 I HAVE CANCER

Today, June 14t Mickey and I sat in a little conference room a the East Breast Center we were told I have BREAST CANCER! As you would expect we were in total shock, lost for words to ask questions and in disbelieve. When the doctor and nurse left the room, Mickey just held me and we cried and prayed together. I want to get out of there so bad and go home to my family..our children. Mickey called my mom and she met us at the house. My phone was loaded with text messages that I answered as quickly as I could has I cried!

This is how it all began!

My two year old daughter Talynn Rae has saved my life! While cuddling with her she bumped me the wrong way that was very painful. After several test and biopsy I was told that I have a very agressive type of breast cancer for a woman my age. (stage 2/grade 3) Drs said honestly I should not be going through this but I feel God has chosen me for a reason. If I would have waited until Dec. for my yearly appointment it would have been a worse situation. So I will take a stand before my God with my family and friends to beat this.
I will be honest- I am scared- I dont want to do this but I know that is my mission and testimony to you all.
Please join me in this journey and prayer.

And I encourage all of my friends to have a Mammogram- dont wait. I have no family history and I nursed my youngest which was to reduce my chances!

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast
